Who even has time for new releases when there are so many years worth of highlight reel backlog at this point? What is the likelihood of a future generation who pays little to no notice regarding the now in terms of media aside from the weather report or the odd air raid siren? Please be patient with my autism, but why does it seem that so few decouple from the now where media is concerned? Why pay for the privilege of scrounging through today's rough in search of the odd diamond when there's an open treasure chest full of them sitting right over there? So many seem to be wandering around The Library of Alexandria in search of next week's issue of the TV Guide. Again, autism, and I am of course generalizing here, but I just don't get it. What momentum sustains this behavior? Let me know what you think in the comments section down below.
