I know the focus on those damned abrahamites is annoying and dull, but the annual conflict is upon us.

In my corner of the world, Christmas has started. In fact, I spotted plastic trees and huge fake wreaths in food shops last week.
Is this coming earlier each year due to global warming? Or is it an insidious accelerationist Illuminati plan to take fakeChrist out of Christmas and restore the winter harvest festival to its former glory?

USA used to have that rhythm where it wasn't Christmas season until after their Thanksgiving holiday, but everything seems up for grabs after Halloween now.

For me, Christmas or the Winter Solstice has always been an American holiday more than a Christian one. Wherein the spirit of the holiday is more important than the forced religious synchronicity of the abrhamic cults. Notably christians, with their old testament, shouldn't even have trees in their homes (as it is forbidden and such practices were actually popularized by Queen Victoria, and her German ancestry; as well as Former President Lincoln: of whom we have received thanksgiving as well).
When the small and wide world is cold, I find it elating to see the warmth inspired by common humanity and the milk of human kindness. A true renunciation of Greyface.

During such times, I've always preferred Santa over Christ to give my attention to. Especially when I've met Santa and know him to be more real than christ.

I do not believe the of the holiday will last forever, as well as the abrhamic grip which is slipping more and more. The greed which infects mens' hearts will fade and the perforce the pagan honors of the solstice will return.

"Is it a Wonder then if the people are mad with blindness and nothing is more strange to men than silence and wisdom and kindness?"

The day itself and the night before? Sure. That's possible. And I hope you have a good one.

The two months leading up to it? FUCK that. The Christmas Marketing Campaign is the Greyest thing since Boss's Day. Just plastic and parasite salesmen all day every day. The same thing every year.

we don't even elect a Fool King any more. It's bullshit, man.
Every year they should find a drunk guy to be mayor for a day. THAT is the christmas spirit.

the only upside to christmas season being so long is that eggnog is available on shelves, instead of being artificially restricted to the december months.

THE FOOL KING MUST LIVE. Canvas the neighborhood with posters of candidates.

oh, I just realized I was meant to buy gnog last year and never got around to it. We never had it growing up.

You should try it. Not only does it make you incredibly fat, it also makes you a little bit drunk!

>died on Sunday morning (23) after the tipping of a crane during the assembly of the Christmas tree

Then as if one 23 wasn't enough the article ends on this note
>This is the second serious episode involving Christmas ornamentation at Largo São Sebastião. In 2024, the Christmas tree, more than 23 meters high, caught fire

The tree flew too high...
I am making my tree too small so nothing bad could happen.
