Looking at it again now, I'm starting to think one of the checkpoints I used tends towards generating the subject in the middle of a vignette of objects, and so my LoRa has been taught to do the same without me noticing. I don't know the right words to explain, but as if the random init noise first moves towards this shape, regardless of seed. The subject gens in the centre, and those dark spots in the corners get filled with shrubs, books, shadows, or some other environment object. If indoors, even the room layout tends towards a diamond to match this (pic2)
That's a deeper pattern I didn't spot, and hopefully I don't have to throw the images away, because I was using them to try and teach a concept - e.g. having a person holding flowers in one image, then change only the flower color in the second image, to teach it what "[x] flowers" means. The method has worked, but the risk of overtraining is obvious.
