This didn't come out of the blue, text-to-image research has been progressing steadily for years now and this is just the latest step, in a few years it'll be dramatically better with greater artistic control.
Personally I eagerly await the day I can commission doujinshi which perfectly match my kinks without actually paying a human.

Customization, it's equivalent to commissioning work from an infinitely patient artist who doesn't mind constantly reworking parts to better match what you want.

In the commercial world, sure. I welcome the automation of shitty marketing jobs that produced asinine crap already.
In the hobby world, it need not be a bad thing, and even hand-drawn art will persist. People practice 'obsolete' methods of all kinds of things because it's fun or gives a different result.

imagine when they can make the AI so fast you can plug  brain area activity as a fitness function. Ready to find out what you love or fear the most?
