On one hand, it's healthy for a community or society to care about  others.
On the other hand, the point of anonymity is to avoid such consequence. Anonymity is a protection, that's why it's used in confessionals. Perhaps this board is just one big confessional booth.

This only matters if you do donate part of it to social causes. I steal from the supermarket despite being able to comfortably afford it, and donate much of the difference to a non-profit organization.
But I also spend money on my own entertainment sometimes. I don't see glory in self-suffering and I believe that suppressing my quality of life to that level would hurt my ability to help other people. I'm usually somewhat frugal with money and me worrying about saving much more money could start to shorten my life.
