being a person with little artistic ability, I often struggle with the issue of having a very clear image in my head of what needs to be made, and being unable to produce it.
The ayyy eye can produce images matching a description quite well, but the description usually does not match the vision. I think that people who find artistic expression in AI often have very shallow visions. Some of my strongest visions (which are always precipitated by the song "Lore" by Elder... don't ask me why) I refuse to attempt to put down on paper. They may be trapped in my head forever, something beautiful that unfortunately only I can perceive. I think there are many things like this, and only those rare few true artists are capable of translating them in to any medium.
FWIW I have used AI very extensively in the past for generating porn. Again it rarely matches my vision exactly, but the genitals are much more easily pleased than the brain.
